[pwguildcug] Re: Wednesday meeting

Title: Re: [pwguildcug] Wednesday meeting
Hello Andrew,

I am just about sick & tired of this committee throwing their weight about. Two or three of them seem to be carrying on like a bunch of control freaks (from my own experience over the past year).

I say NO we will not consider moving to another day or time slot. We will share our morning tea with the Wednesday Group (as I think we have always done) and the committee can  make their own arrangements concerning their meeting times at their leisure. How dare they assume and impose on the computer group.

If it comes to pass that we are turfed out of our spot on Wednesdays I shall resign and the committee can all go to blazes.

Hello Everyone,

After our meeting yesterday, I was approached by our president Dick Wrangles.
The gist of his message was, "We are not trying to push you out, the Computer Group!"
But, we would be happy to see you change your meetings to a different day.

Apparently:

The workshop group is having their morning tea breaks out on the veranda
because of us.

The committee would like to have their meetings in our space and time slot.

On top of it all, many of the members don't even stay for the afternoon meeting.

I told him that we have discussed the move to another day already, but it was rejected.
However I promised to raise the issue with you all, and see where we get.

So, put on your thinking caps between now and next Wednesday when, we can work out
a solution to the problem in question.

Regards
Andrew
