I've had very good results using warmtone SpotPens to spot small defects -- 
dust or 
scratches -- on Ilford MGWT FB toned in Nelson gold.  Larger areas don't quite 
match the 
tone, but are not too noticable.

Drying the "pen" tip a bit on paper towel seems to make it more controllable 
for delicate 
work.
