[pure-silver] Re: re-using DDX

Right now I'm processing some MF film: HP5+. I like a long scale.
The paper scale with the enlarger I use now, and my last few boxes of
Agfa paper, is about 1.3, I guess because of the diffusion head.

So for MF film, what would minimal agitation be?

For MF as well as LF, use the Ilford times. With 35mm, I invert and roll alternating, every min down to 8 min then 2 min down to 4 and stand for the last 4 min. In other words, if the dev time is 12 min, I agitate 30 sec at first then alternate invert and roll at 11,10,9,8,6 and 4 min.

But, didn't you say to add 50% to the development time? Is your 12 minutes time based on Ilford's recommendation of 8 minutes?
