Subject: [pure-silver] replacing tiny screws on view camera

Hi, a screw on my Tachihara view camera is stripped. It is very small, almost like a screw on a pair of glasses. I wonder where you get tiny screws like this. Do I have to get in touch with Tachihara, or is there a simpler way?

I don't know a specific source but I've had some success in finding miniature hardware in hobby shops especially those dealing in model railroads. An old fashioned watchmaker may also have something that will fit. If the screw is stripped its possible the hole it goes into also has damaged threads. Note that most, if not all, hardware on Japanese cameras is metric.
