[pure-silver] Re: looking for omega carrier

My D2V 35mm and 6x7 carriers have the raised frame on the underside that positions them in the negative stage, but the 4x5 carrier is just flat aluminum stock with registration pins- I suspect it was homemade. The negative stage has a pair of pins at the back corners that also center the carriers into the stage. So far as I am concerned, they are the original carriers, but since I bought the rig used, I don't know what originall came with it.

The original carriers that came with my D2-V also have the raised
frame... (I have several, purchased with a new D2-V in the 1970's.)

The D5 carriers differed in that on the bottom plate there is a
raised frame that settles into the opening where the carrier sits
thereby centering the carrier. D2 etc carriers don't have that so
you have to futz w/the placement so that the carrier is properly
centered.

I thought the D-5 used the same holders as the D-2, are
they different?
