Like Nick said, some could be bent.
Also a trick I learned was to make sure there was
always some play in the film on the reel (when
loading) by pulling and pushing SLIGHTLY to make sure
that play was there.
When it isn't, and the film won't give you that 5mm or
so movement back and forth, you have to back up to get
to the point where you went offtrack.
Plus X is the worst for loading as it's the thinnest
base of all the 120 AFAIK. Perhaps take a roll and
load in the light and see which ones go awry.
