Hi Shannon !
I've already seen this.
It is the film back paper number showing. The Holga (as are of folding cameras) has a red filter which is not light safe. So the film number and surrounding marks get imprinted onto the film.
An easy fix is to stick a double coat of gaffer onto the window.
Hope this helps.

I checked the negatives, and it's not on the film.

I had another idea about what might have caused this. Earlier in the day, I had turned off the filtration on the enlarger in order to just get white light, because I was testing some film (the BTZS thing). I forgot to turn the filtration back on when making the prints. The contrast was ok so I didn't notice that the filtration was off. I wonder if that might have caused the weird donuts.

I don't know if I'll have time to reprint those negatives today before I go back to TN at noon. If I do, and if it goes away, I'll let y'all know.

Is there any limit to the number of ways a person can f*** up their prints? I seem to have been trying lately to push the envelope that way.

Is the donut located in the middle of the print, on all the prints that have it, like in the sample that you posted?

It must be some kind of a reflection inside the enlarger "works". I would try exposing at a larger aperture and also maybe adjusting the enlarger lamp position.

Just guesses.

Cheers!
Jukka
