I think I would have to agree. Buy some plastic kitchen containers (Tupperware-like) that close airtight, put in the lenses and the desiccant packs, and keep them at room temperature. The condensation possibility scares me.
Although the idea of running the air conditioning down to "chill" sounds nice, too!

One of these would be my choice for drying out a camera enclosure.
