[pure-silver] Re: keeping negatives dry and safe on the gulf coast

You might try
http://www.dehumidify.com/

Hydrosorbent Products
25 School Street, Ashley Falls, MA 01222
(413) 229-2967

They sell metal canisters of silica gel. I have used them for 25 years and
they are easy to recharge. 3 hours @ 300'F in the oven. Also I noticed
Cabelas sold them for gun safes.

Where can you get silica gel?

------------------------------------------------------------

Buy stereo equipment or computer equipment from a store with a liberal
return policy. Take the merchandise home, remove the silica gel packet,
return everything else for a refund!
(Sorry, that's my strange sense of humor, enhanced by beer!)
Seriously, try companies that sell shipping supplies. One example is
www.uline.com , however they sell large quantities, and it will cost you at
least $100-- you soak up a lot of moisture at that price!
