Ray,
A security hanger is one that attaches at the top and bottom and requires a
"key" to remove or release the bottom attachment. Nielson Bainbridge make
the most common one and I am sure you could find it on their site or by
asking your local custom picture framer. Theirs is made for metal frames,
(which I hope Shannon is using as well as plexiglass!) but can be adapted to
a wood frame. There are others out their as well but when you are hanging a
show in a public access place rarely does the "house" provide loss
prevention coverage. (another thing Shannon should inquire about as well as
incidental damages) It's a great location for exposure but there are a
multitude of risks that should be addressed prior to hanging the exhibit.
