I do stop and look at the photos of other people rather carefully, but maybe I am the only one

Friday morning I took my husband to an exhibit I'd been to previously. It was beautifully presented for this older man who photographed in our region during the 40s, 50s, & 60s. He's still alive, though very frail. Many of the images nearly brought tears to my eyes. All brought a broad grin. It's an absolutely wonderful, beautiful exhibit!

My husband paused at a huge print that is my favorite! Well, one of my favorites. He barely looked, and moved on. It nearly frustrated me.

Don't go too much by how average passers-by look (though of course, that's who they'll be hung for). Hope for some of us to be there and I promise we'll *really* look!

(By the way, the photographer here is Max Tharpe. The exhibit is at the Iredell Museum in Statesville. Stop in if you're in the area.)
