Hello,What would be a practical way of focusing such a loupe. You can't do it on the GG as the image on the GG has to be in focus first, hence the need for a loupe, so where do you focus your loupe first before using it? I was thinking of placing a sharp negative on a light table then calibrating the focus using that and then locking it in (gaffer's tape) for use on the ground glass.
I've never used a loupe that itself can be focused so I have no experience on this one. Any advice appreciated. Thanks.

I live in Adelaide so your shipping times would be similar to mine. At 8x magnification is the image too grainy?Dear Shannon,Uncle Dick thoroughly endorses the Chinese-made loupe that is offered on the internet. He ordered one and it was delivered within a week at a very modest price. The loupe is long enough to poke down through the opened focussing hood of Linhof or Graflex cameras and the rubber face that contacts the ground glass is safer than metal. It is plenty sharp for the purpose.Uncle DickSteve============================================================================================================= To unsubscribe from this list, go to www.freelists.org and logon to your account (the same e-mail address and password you set-up when you subscribed,) and unsubscribe from there.
