[pure-silver] Re: flattening prints with no dry-mount press

Hi Ralph,
Last time I flattened twenty 11 x 14 prints I put a stiff (1/2 inch plexi) board top and bottom and then two cases of beer on top. After three days flattened the prints like a charm. Bottom case was home made beer and the top case was a mixture of lagers. With so many prints I didn't want to waste a lot of time using my dry mount press. If any one wants more details on the beer let me know.

I for one, favor the books by MM Kandinsky, Klee, Penn and Matisse. I add some Sieff and a Depardon I own.
My prints get flatened and inspired by the mighty giants they support....
So my photography gets better ;-)
I fear that if I use beer to flatten them they will turn like soccer hooligans. Not suitable for the kind of picture I take these days.
