I recently had to dry mount a bunch of prints without a press.  I followed the 
advice of a friend who had done it before, and used a piece of old cotton 
bedsheet between the iron and the print.  I ended up using the "wool" setting 
and keeping the iron moving the whole time.  It worked very well, but was a 
little slow.  I didn't damage a single print of the 12 I mounted.  I paid 6 
bucks for the iron. I was using Ilford FB multigrade IV.

  I like Richard's proposal but are concerned about the iron on the lowest 
setting. Even the lowest setting on my iron is too hot for a print. I'm not 
sure Kraft paper is enough to even the heat out. To be extra cautious, I would 
take one or two mounting boards to cover the print before using an iron on it. 
Other than that, I'm sure this works.
