I have two lenses for my 4x5, and use the Cokin 'P'
series filters. There is a metal ring that screws
onto the front of the lens, and a plastic filter
holder thingy that slides onto this, then the filters,
which are square, slide into the plastic filter
holder. I can easily slide the filters out to hold in
front of my meter when metering.
The filter quality is probably not the greatest, but
it works OK.
The two filters that I use the most are a yellow, and
a polarizer, and I have both of those as screw mounts
for the 150mm lens which I use the most.
Not sure I understand your system here. Are you saying that you use
the screw mount filters the most, but when you need another kind of
filter, you use the Cokin ones that slide into the holder?
