Depends. IIRC the Lee Snap system only goes up to 82mm. Or is it
smaller. Not
a problem for small lens but wide angles can be pretty big. I wonder how long
the Lee filters will last with normal handling. But those are the only two
issues that I can think of.

With screw mounts you can get adapter rings so you only need to buy
your
biggest filter. OTOH the bigger ones are expensive and some would argue a bag
full is heavy. I'd expect polarizers to work better with these. If you surf
over to Ebay the common sizes can be pretty cheap in the common colours.
Yellow, red and green are very common in sizes up to 82mm.

If you aren't using very wide lenses you could consider some of the
shades. I
got a couple of Lindahl shades from KEH. I think the most expensive was about
$30 or so. They have various ways of attaching to lenses. Ranging from rings
to set screws. I think they all take 3x3 filters. This way I got a filter
holder and a shade. Not perfect for view cameras but a compendium would cost
lots more.
