[pure-silver] Re: fence row project negatives

I scanned the flat negatives and put them on my flickr site:

I didn't do anything to them to "fix" them in photoshop. These are just straight scans.

Before I posted them, though, I did (and undid) auto-contrast to see what photoshop thought. It changed the image only a little. I think this is because it read the high values and low values and said, "Ok, that's good enough." It didn't look at over all contrast. With the curves, I could fix it and make it look some better over all, which makes me think it may not be that hard to print them.

PS you can also see pictures from the biggest outdoor rock festival in the US in my Bonnaroo set, shot with the Holga (in color; don't look, purists!). Don't worry, they're family-friendly. Professional cameras weren't allowed at Bonnaroo for some reason, so the HOlga was perfect. It aroused no suspicions. Also some recently posted pictures from the Big Bend area of West Texas, made with the Holga and view camera.
