[pure-silver] curled fiber edges

This may sound like a silly question, but have you ever tried ironing the edges of dried fiber paper? Would the heat mess something up about it? I have such a time getting it flat. Surely there's a better way. I try heavy large books but often can't get it perfectly flat.
