Guess I didn't say this - but the curtain opens fine. When I change
aperture, from the front I can see that open and close fine.
Wouldn't it be nice if it's something I could fix myself??? Is that
only wishful thinking?

If you don't see a light through the lens from the
back of the camera, something is broken and you should
be able to trouble shoot it/guess as to the source
whether shutter or the mirror or shutter curtain in
the camera.

got another blank roll from the Hasselblad. Is durn

hate to ship the thing off! Would that be in the
lens itself, since
the shutter is in it, and not in the body? ~sigh~
Oh well... just
whining to someone(s) who understands.
