[pure-silver] Re: Yellow edges

Every emulsion is different.  Every surface texture is different.  RSBL is
not huge in any case.  It is minor in the worst case.  BUT better safe than
sorry.  Longer fix times with FB papers is CYA.

To invalidate Ilford archival processing method the assumption would be that
all gels are alike and emulsions, structure, etc.  That is not the case, as
you know.  Baryta layer porosity varies.  It is always best to follow the
manufacturers recommendations for processing.  The Ilford Archival
processing method is good only for Ilford papers.  Not other manufacturers
papers.   I know it is not as effective w Kodak FB papers.  Don't know about
other papers.

I don't recall if there were any papers published on RSBL or the stripping
method.  I doubt it.
