[pure-silver] Re: X-Rite 810 densitometer for B&W testing

I've been using the X-Rite 810 for black and white and it works just
fine. I've used it mostly for film but it works well in reflective mode
on prints as well. I would try to get the calibration plates for both
modes if they are available from the seller. I bought the 810 on ebay a
year or so back for $100. I had on old Macbeth 100 series before that.

Subject: [pure-silver] X-Rite 810 densitometer for B&W testing

Is the X-Rite 810 densitometer good for B&W negative and print
testing? The information on the X-Rite web site only mentions color
processing (C-41, RA-4).

I assume that B&W density is read in Visible mode, but I'd rather now
for sure before spending any money.
