So, how do you use them together? In a single bath (mixed together), or one after the other in separate baths?

I have done the latter (with Sepia) and gotten a nice effect, though not one I would want to see ALL the time.

Here's what I do:
Since I want the increased black density that selenium offers, along with minimal tonal shift; I tone Ilford FB MG first in selenium 1+9 for 4 minutes. Rinse. Then I tone in Kodak brown toner, followed by a bath in sodium sulfite, which minimizes/prevents staining. There's a slight split tone which is nice. The prints should be very well protected.

I also like bleaching the print and redeveloping in a thiocarbamide toner with lots of sodium hydroxide in it, which gives a cool brown tone. Lately I've tried putting the bleached print in a dilute print developer until the image just comes back and then into the thiocarbamide toner.
