Hi,

I've only ever seen one. This is a monorail camera. The B&J 8x10's have a reputation for being floppy. That can be cured by tightening up the clamps.

How do you go about doing this? I want to buy a B&J 8x10 and will want to do it but I also have a B&J 5x7 that could use a bit of tightening up????

Cheers,
Bogdan

All B&J cameras use standard lensboards and holders.
The Ilex lens may be a good one. Ilex made a series of Tessar types under the name Paragon but also made some Plasmat lenses for Calumet. The Tessar types are probably not as good as the Kodak Ektar series but are were not cheap and are good performers, I have, I think, five of them. If this stuff is in good condition you are getting it for throw away prices.
