I loved Kodachrome and have shot a good bit of it over the years.
When i saw the announcement I went to B&H with the thought of ordering a few
rolls to shoot before processing is no longer available.
Holy f-stops! The price was a little over double that for E6 films!
I didn't buy any. Some of you other guys will have to help deplete the supply.
I couldn't justify the price "just for old times sake."

Yes indeed! Gone forever! For me at least, there's
no reason to pump anything but b&w in my ancient
Nikons and Leicas. Kodachrome had extraordinary
sharpness and kept well. Rich

A sad day indeed. I recently had some 60+-year-old home movies converted to
DVD. The colors on those 16mm Kodachrome films were as vibrant as if they'd
been shot yesterday, and no special care had been taken in storage. Can any E6
material perform as well?
