Does Anyone know the math for calculating the exposure time if you want
an arc length X of the sun's path on the paper while using a Y focal
length lens?

The sun moves 15 degrees per hour - or 360 degrees in 24 hours as we all
know.
Take the angle of view of the Y focal length on your Z film dimension, and
it's simple arithmetic. No equation necessary at all.
