Last week Donald Qualls showed some beautiful cyanotypes.
He mentioned that toning/staining with tea increased the
longevity of the cyanotypes.
So I went to Tim Rudman's Toning book and there besides
mentioning this he mentions using a "trace" of pyro in the tea
for better toning/permanence of the cyanotypes.
Has anyone used this method?
By a "trace" how much are we talking about?
Any pointers?
I'll be trying cyanotypes with digital negatives.
Thanks
