I used the potassium polysulfide (liver of sulfur) and sodium carbonate
formula, which Kodak designated T-8 (if I recall correctly, etc.).

This is extremely interesting, not to mention distressing. It's possible I
used a jug of the old stuff (are we going to become like wine fanciers?
hunting old stashes of pre-formula-change Kodak selenium toner??) (a friend
of mine met a painter who claims to have unearthed a certain type of white
pigment that is no longer available. He mixes his own oils. The stuff he
'found' has markings impressed into it by a wartime Nazi agency. It was
hidden on the bottom of Lake Geneva, the story goes. Will we have to go
this far?)

How do you make selenium-polysulfide toner similar to POLY toner from
scratch. (You're referring to the now discontinued Kodak product called
Polytoner, I assume?)
