Bob, the code requirement for all classes of tickets was dropped about a year ago. 

I'd replied off-list to Bob, since it's a fair bit OT, but there's a
good Wikipedia summary here:

The Morse requirement was dropped as of Feb 23, 2007.
We seem to have a few radio amateurs on the list, IIRC.
