Thanks Craig! Cool! A working dilution one shot deal is perfect for what I'm looking at. Now to extrapolate a development time from all this. I didn't see any info on staining characteristics though. Did I miss them? RE: shadow detail, I don't think anything I could use will pull much out from there at 6400. I told the client that this isn't a good way to evaluate pyro but he still wants to try it. If it seems just plain risky or unworkable, I'll tell him so. I've foundD3200 to be more like 1000-1200 in PyroCat-HD. In medium format, itgave me very decent 8X10's but I can't imagine digging any shadowdetail out of those 6400 shots. Here's a pyro based formula thatsounded as if it might have some speed enhancing capability. http://tinyurl.com/22tdgm I only tried it once and made an error and never got back to it totry again. I found Ed Buffalo had run his3200 at an EI of 1600 for 30 minutes in standingdevelopment.I'd like to get this client into pyro but I don'tthink it will "work" for what he's shot here.Anyone else tried 6400 EI film with a pyro formula?Eric =============================================================================================================To unsubscribe from this list, go to www.freelists.org and logon to your account (the same e-mail address and password you set-up when you subscribed,) and unsubscribe from there. ____________________________________________________________________________________ Now that's room service!
