Hi Jonathan,
The camera I'll be using for the 6x6 slides is a Perkeo II folder and I
use a Kodak series VI adapter on it. I have all the b+w filters that I
need, but for color, I only have a Tiffen Photar 85B and a Tiffen Photar
82C. Will any of these do for the slides or do they have to be an 81A
or 85A???
Is the 1a & 1b warming filters available in series VI for use with the
Kodak adapters?
I don't shoot much colour, so I am a bit ignorant on the subject of
colour film or slide filters.
Cheers,
Bogdan

shadows blue prevails.

I pretty much always use a polarizer with slide film - for me, Velvia
50. I have some Provia 100F but seldom use it. Landscapes & Velvia 50
are a match made in heaven! A polarizer is useful for far more than
just deepening the blue of a sky, It makes foliage look like it is
supposed to by removing the reflected blue from the sky. Basically
keeping the flora & fauna colors true. Plus, you can always dial it
back to the neutral position if you want to shoot without polarization
help. I might as well weld a polarizer to my lenses since I take very
few photographs without it. Even with B&W film.

anymore to get prints from slides so that problem isn't a big deal

When I go to Death Valley, I'll be bring along some Provia 100F and
400F. Are there any recommendations that can be made concerning
useful filters for shooting slides?
Cheers,
Bogdan
