in other european countries this is true and in italy it used to be,
but now it's not anymore.
it's hard to explain it in english, but, to keep it short, italian
posts now keep a percentage of the custom duties they make you pay,
then it's almost impossible that anything bigger or thicker than a
letter won't be checked and won't pay custom duties :\
