[pure-silver] Re: Pre-Exposure of Negatives

I remember an article years ago in one of the photo magazines about
exposing film to the light from a green safelight to increase film
speed.  In the darkroom the film was pulled from the 35 mm cassette and
hung up some feet from the safelight where it was left for a period of
time.  I believe that some sheets of paper were inserted behind the
safelight filter to reduce the light output and the bulb may have been
changed to a lower wattage.  I can't remember if this was pre- or post-
exposure.
