I don't see why you couldn't let the stop bath run a
little longer than 30 sesc if necessary, phone rings
whatever.  Happens to all of us.  Fixing in Kodak
Rapid Fix w/no hardner here, I go 5 mins for any film
with any developer.  
Tmax esp. needs the longer fixing times and 5 mins
will not hurt non-t-grain  films, contrary to what we
may have heard of "delicate tones" being dissolved by
being "too long" in the fix.  Just don't go beyond the
recommended capacity for the volume of solution you
are working with....unless you like purple film.
