When fog is a question whether from age or other
factors, I put a test strip in the fix and then
develop another one normally (unexposed except to
safelight) and compare them.
If the developed one has fog, I'll add some bromide to
the developer and develop another strip again.
Since Forte went down the tubes at the begining of the
year, it may be hard to know when the paper was made,
but heat could very well be a factor in causing the
fog plus the age factor. Hopefully some bromide will
help eliminate it.
