i don't think it does.
i have bought my darkroom from an ex-professional that made c41 for
30+ years and his reels, drums and tanks are clean and perfect as if
they were new.

the reels he used for b&w, on the contrary, have turned brownish or
greynish. tanks and drums were kept clean often, then they have no
residues.
