[pure-silver] Re: Music

I got some 2.1 Klipsch speakers and ran cable from a computer into the darkroom. Tuned to Pandora radio (on the Net). Allows me to program my own stations (to a degree). I have several stations pre-programmed, so I can choose based on mood.

Female voice: Kate Bush, Tori Amos, Sarah Fimm, Jen Scaturro
80s 90s wave: Thomas Dolby, Ultravox, Depeche Mode, Royksopp
20s 30s jazz: Fats Waller, Jelly Roll Morton, Louis Armstrong, Teddy Wilson

I can listen to most music, as long as it's not country or doesn't sound like two tractor-trailers having a knife fight! In my studio, I have a computer devoted to music. The audio output of the computer feeds the aux input of an ordinary stereo system. The music source is www.181.fm . They have perhaps twenty or so different 'channels' such as Lite 80's, Urban, Office, Classic Rock, etc. Some of the channels have no commercials, others have limited commercials. Be sure your computer's anti-virus and java is up to date.
