I do not care to listen to music at the same time as I am developing or printing. I prefer what I call quality music, that I will not specify here to avoid flame wars, and to listen to that, I need my stereo that is downstairs. Since my house has no basement, my darkroom is built into an otherwise unused bedroom upstairs.
