We tried the drain plug and that proved to be a pain back in the 80's when I
first tried it. I use a good 3/4" hose and just set up a siphon to get the
chemicals out of the trays in my darkroom today. Big bucket on the floor and
it is easy enough to move the empty tray. I have 6) 30" x 40" (slightly
larger actually) and room to have them all flat in the sink or table top.

valve and the chemicals could run down a tube back into a jug or bottle
