[pure-silver] Re: Metering 135 vs 120

Richard its an old Copal 1 shutter. Its on an old B&J Orbit and has an Ilex
Acutar No 545 215mm lens in it. Its an 8 1/2 inch lens, and has an F6.3 as
the widest F stop. It does ok with a portrait lens in it, and since it is
basically a studio camera with a strobe its up in the range where the drag just
really isn't that much of a difference.

Now I am planning some natural light table top work and down near a 30th of a
second it becomes much more of a problem. Yet so far from what little play
time I have, it seems consistent at least.

As the film camera prices fall, hopefully I can pick up a better set up cheap
one day. Id love to have an old field camera or perhaps and old press camera
in the 4x5 format. Id love to be able to take a camera with the big negative
to the field easily. For me the press camera may offer more in portability
than it would lose in the way of advantages from less movements of a field
camera.
