Did they do that on the Luna-Pro F (the flash model) too? I bought mine
ages ago (new), and it still works fine. But am I living on borrowed time?
I have no idea. It is possible they saw the errors of their ways and
fixed the problem.
The problem may only be with Mr. Hartings and my meters, but that
seems rather unlikely.
It is also possible the problem can be traced to contamination of
the keypads or the circuit boards and only effected a few production
runs - and the design, though in error from a good design standpoint,
is functional.
