[pure-silver] Re: Meter woes

I have the original Luna Star digital from the early '90's, and I've never had any problems with the buttons. It used 9 volts instead of the Luna Pro Digital's 1.5 volt, but I doubt that that would make much difference.

...aside from the mercury battery issue, I've never had a complaint about any of my Gossen meters: Luna Six 3 (two of them), Luna Star and Luna Six F.

I'm surprised Gossen would cheapen-out on minor things like that. Their reputation in most of the world is largely based on the nearly- indestructible Luna Six 3.

My Gossen Luna-Pro digital meter (not the flash model) has just about
stopped responding to the buttons.
To be expected with this meter.
They cheaped-out on the keyboard contacts on the printed circuit
board.

Did they do that on the Luna-Pro F (the flash model) too? I bought mine ages ago (new), and it still works fine. But am I living on borrowed time?
