        It's more then that isn't it? 

        Use a shorter lens. A wide angle enlarger lens if possible would add 
some 
size. But depending on the format even a slightly wider lens will increase 
the size some what.

        I don't rememeber the DII can you remove the baseboard and focus on the 
floor?

        Depending on how the baseboard connects you may be able to just put a 
spacer 
block in. 

        Simplest would be a different enlarger. My beseler will handle some 
thing 
like 24x30 with a 135mm lens using a 4x5 negative.
