I did that too, in a garage. Out of black plastic and duct tape and 2x4s. It had really good ventilation!

and it reminded me of my first darkroom.

Built in my parents' basement, next to the washer and dryer, I made curtains out of material like this. It enclosed a small area, and was maybe 98% light-tight (light crept in around the edges), so I printed mostly at night, but it was relatively quick and sort of cheap.
