How do they do with Kodak developers?

I routinely develop in XTOL (at varying dilutions, but mostly 1:1) with no issues. Before that I used a bunch of developers but certainly including D-76. As Richard mentions, the tabular grain films (TMax, Delta, Fuji's Acros) are known to be very sensitive to changes in the development process--depending on who you ask this is either a feature or a serious issue. The only thing I routinely vary is temperature, as I don't have a good tempering bath, and they behave fairly well in that.
