[pure-silver] Re: Kodak Slide Film Choices

I don't shoot much colour any more, but I have shot the E100G and the GX.  I
liked the GX for portraits - it was nice and warm, without being too
saturated.   I also shot the VS which gave very saturated colours, and I got
some interesting landscapes in the southwest - red rocks with blue skys.
Similar saturation to Velvia.

Although I have some interesting images shot in the E100 films, my favourite
colour images are ones that I shot on Kodachrome 64.  I used it for a lot of
underwater photography and it just seemed to be perfect for that application.

Hi all,

Has anyone shot E100G or E100GX?

I'm thinking of trying the new EKTAR 100, and thought I'd order some
slide film at the same time.
I've shot Provia, and I like it a lot, but was curious about what else is
out there.

Elias
