It is interesting that no one stood up at this wild
claim (wild sounding at the very least!) like they did
when the Kodak announcement was made indirectly on
this list.

Which rumor do you mean, the one about Kodak
discontinuing everything or the one about Ilford making
Oriental? If the latter check the country of origin on the
box. I don't have any current Oriental paper here but it
seems to me that stuff I checked out at Freestyle a week ago
had "made in Japan" on it. It it says that its not made by
Ilford.
Wharever else Kodak does it will not discontinue
Kindness, Happiness, and Joy (once the motto of a local
radio station), blue skys, blue birds, blue-bells, the deep
blue sea, or Babe, the Blue Ox. What they did discontinue
was either all or mostly made in their plant in Brazil,
which may or may not mean anything.
