HP-5 Plus and Fomapan 400 aren't the same, but they have many of the same qualities as Tri-X. Ilford has a wash aid much like Photo-Flo. KRST can be made from bulk ingredients. HIE is unique. Ilford's stop bath is citric acid based, but it does the same thing. (I don't use a stop bath anymore since I run an all-alkaline film process.)
