This is probably the best advice. The plastic the reservoir is made from (ABS) is soft and a drill cuts right through it. HOWEVER, get the fittings first, do the surgery second. If you have .. errors... in drilling, I have found that common aquarium cement (silicon based caulking.... also available from your local DIY) will work very well in sealing up holes or cracks. My CPE2 is in the sink, draining is no big deal. I SIPHON off most of the water, then tilt out the rest. Rinse the base and then tilt up to dry. BTW, my tanks leak. I have replaced the red seals, but they still leak. This builds up in the water bath. When I use PYRO, the water turns color to prove it! I would recommend using a bucket if necessary to get the base empty and rinse after use. Frank Filippone red735i@xxxxxxxxxxxxx -----Original The one thing I added to my Jobo is a drain. I drilled a hole close to the bottom of the right side and added a drain pipe with a sealed cap. This makes draining the water really easy and is much healthier for my aching back. ============================================================================================================= To unsubscribe from this list, go to www.freelists.org and logon to your account (the same e-mail address and password you set-up when you subscribed,) and unsubscribe from there.
