Dearest Uncle, Try processing with Ilford PQ Universal or
Multigrade, 1:9 dilution at room temperature ( in trays or dishes)
for about 90set to 2 minutes. Multigrade is a bit more active than
PQ so times are somewhat shorter. For 35mm and lacking 4 ft long
arms, open tanks filled with chemistry and hang the reels on a wire
to dunk them in and out of the soup.
Iffen that does not work, make a screen negative by photographing
ground black pepper on white paper and sandwich with the other negative.
Howard
