Mercury intensifiers require the use of Mecruic chloride, an excedingly poisonous compound. I would not recommend anyone using it. Also, the images from Mercury intensifiers are not permenant.
There are some other intensifiers, which do not use such poisonous subsances, which are supposed to increase grain but I have no personal experience with them.
